DAS NEWS 


Today, Dual Audio Services is celebrating its first birthday! With one year 
behind us, we hope to improve customer convenience and will now provide a 
monthly news blitz to keep you in the loop. 

Whether itÕs new gear, new deals, or new ways our company is working with 
the greater Toronto arts community, DAS News is our way of keeping you up to date. 

ARTS BRIEF 

Dual Audio Services was a proud sponsor at this yearÕs SummerWorks Festival 
for the new music series. The company provided the series with an SLS system 
consisting of SLS8695 mains and SLS1290 monitors, powered by CamcoÕs Tecton 
series. 

We also offered discounted rentals to all other participating artists. 
Sponsoring is an important part of what we do and, as a young company, 
we understand the value of lending a helping hand. 

Alter Boyz, an Angel Walk production at Toronto Centre for the Arts, will open 
on Friday September 25th with an SLS line-array and Xilica processing from DAS. 

As the company has grown over the past year, we have strived to provide 
appropriate gear, no matter the scale of the production. 

INSTALL NEWS 

Bathurst Street Theatre (the Randolph AcademyÕs main theatre space) now features 
a new, full sound system including SLS RLA3 line array, Xilica processing and an 
M7CL console purchased this past April from Dual Audio Services. 

Through install and the continued training of staff, we have stood by our 
commitment to provide specific to Theatre low profile, high efficiency, 
professional audio equipment. 

GEAR NEWS 

CAMCO Known for high quality amplification, is now our preferred amplifier. They 
have several series, onboard DSP and compliment SLS systems extremely well. 

XILICA Professional system controllers from a Toronto manufacturer provide high 
end processing at mid-sized theatre price points.
